Federico Chiesa Horror Vacui

Federico Chiesa Italian based photographer has produced an appealing series of images that observe what turn out to iconic movie villains from the ’70s and ’80s extended following the credit have revolve. The album, entitled “Horror Vacui” (Latin for “fear of empty space”), shows the characters in the twilight of their years, and time have not been kind. There’s Darth Vader in an easy chair beneath a blanket with Tie Fighter-adorned hot water bottle, gaze pitifully at the TV; Michael Myers from Halloween, who isn’t almost as scary using a walker; the Grady twins from The Shining, seemingly motionless seek for someone to play with them; Jason Voorhees down and out on skid row; and Freddy Krueger alone with a bottle of wine and pack of smokes.
