Joining their ability in performance art and photography, Aloyse Blair and Janelle Pietrzak teamed up to produce their primary solo presentation, a sequence of big, bright color shoots entitled Liminal Rites. The two artists have been work together for approximately two decades; mingle their friendship with artistic honor to make these dramatic outcomes. “Liminal” is a rickety verge through which alteration arise, variable from one situation to the following that. In these snaps, the viewer’s eye is automatically drained foremost to the stripe of light, but ahead more expression, weak traces of female figures are exposed.
